Critically examine the theoretical discussions on the definition of religion.

Since African Traditional Religion (ATR) has no revealed scriptures and no single founder can it be rightly called a religion?

Discuss the theoretical stances on the origin of religion and the point in time when religion is likely to have emerged.
3.
Analyze the emergence and development of the church in Egypt and North Africa.
4.
Outline the various stages through which the study of African Traditional Religion (ATR) has gone and discuss the perspectives of the various missionaries, travellers, anthropologists and other scholars on it.
5.
Explain the speedy spread of Islam after its emergence and its impact on the Church in Egypt and North African.
6.
Evaluate the impact of the Islam in Either East Or West Africa in the 18th and 19th Centuries.
7.
Examine the role of the Egyptian Pharaoh?s in Egyptian religious practice.
8.
Assess the contribution of any 19th Century European Missionary to the Colonization of Africa.
