1. A rectangular container of length 15 cm and width 10 cm has 1200 cubic centimetres of water. More water flows into the container at the rate of 60 cubic centimetres per second. What will be the height of the container after 5 seconds?

2. A rectangular tank measuring 250 cm by 180 cm by 120 cm is full of water. Water flows out of the tank at the rate of 15 litres per minute. How many hours does it take to empty the whole tank?

3. A cylindrical container has a diameter of 20 cm and is 12 cm high. It contains orange juice up to the height of 5 cm. Water is added to fill the container completely. How many cubic centimetres of water is added?

4. A rectangular container has a square base of sides 60 cm. Its height is 90 cm. How many litres of water does it hold when full?

5. The base area of a cylindrical container A is 154 square centimetres and the height is 20 centimetres, a container B holds 4,000 ml of water. If the water from B is used to fill A, how much water remains in container B?

6. A cylindrical tank of diameter 5.6 m contains 73.92 cubic metres of water. What is the depth of the water in the tank?

7. A cylindrical container of internal diameter 28 cm is dull of water. The height of the water is 30 cm. How many litres of water is this?

8. Wanja had 8 cylindrical containers each of base area 616 square centimetres and a height of 33 cm full of water. She used the water to fill an empty rectangular tank of volume 162,000 cubic centimetres. How many litres of water remained when the tank was full?

9. A rectangular container holds 5 litres of liquid when full. The base of the container is 40 cm long and 20 cm wide. What is the height of the container in cm?

10. A rectangular tank of base 5 m long and 4 m wide has water 2 m deep. How many litres of water are in the tank?

11. A cylinder has a height of 12 cm. What is its diameter if its volume is 1,848 cubic centimetres?
