Pavlov suggested that the CR was the UCR elicited by the CS rather than the UCS. Describe the rationale for Pavlov?s view. Present evidence to support this view. (10 marks)

Mama Dan would like to toilet train her 2-year old son. She wants to use a toy as a rein forcer but does not want to give a toy for each trip to the bathroom. Using several different schedules of reinforcement, show how Mana Dan, can go about toilet training her child without reinforcing every behaviour. Discuss the strength and weakness of every schedule. Everyone forgets things or events in their lives. Discuss six main reasons for this. (10 marks)

Memories aren?t exact records of events. Instead, memories are reconstructed in many different ways after events happen, which means they can be distorted by several factors. Giving suitable examples, describe factors responsible for memory distortion. (10 marks)

a)
James does not have enough money to end the remainder of the semester. Describe legal steps he can use to solve this problem. What obstacles can hinder him from finding money? (10 marks)
b)
Wiper is Oloo's favorite politician. With reference two components of a concept politician? explain the processes that allow Oloo to vies Wiper as a politician and not as a teacher. (10 marks)

a)
Jane's older son likes watching violent and horror movies on the TV. After reading about the effects of TV on personality development, she has started disliking the son?s interest in violent movies. Discuss the principles of observation learning that must be in place before Jane gets worried about the son learning to be violent. (10 marks)
b)
John a third year with two retakes has no idea of how he can avoid retakes in future. Explain how John might use mnemonic techniques to improve his memory during exams. (10 marks)
