Establish and distinguish between multipotentiality and giftedness. [5 marks]
(b)
With illustrative examples, elaborate on the following problems of people with multipotentiality: career indecision, perfectionism, and social pressure and expectations. [15 marks]

Outline any five counseling interventions for assisting people with multipotentiality. [10 marks]

Explain, with illustrative examples, the difference between the task of counseling special populations as understood in North America and the focus of counseling special populations as understood in Africa and South America. [5 marks]

State and comment on any two major objective of counseling special populations. [5 marks]

Highlight any five assumptions on the nature of human beings that are important for effective practice in counseling special populations. [5 marks]

Discuss, with illustrative examples, any five-personality characteristics of street children/youth in Kenya, and the self-limiting attitudes and beliefs that go with them. [15 marks]
(b)
Outline any five Rehabilitative Interventions intended for the vulnerable youth in Kenya. [5 marks]

Trained helping professionals that work with abused children need to recognize the characteristics of families that give rise to such children and the kinds of intervention they need. It is also crucial for them to remember that certain children have unique characteristics that make them liable to abuse.

Discuss any five psychological characteristics of child-abusing families, including the types of counseling to be given to such parents. [10 marks]

Identity and clarify any five unique characteristics of some children that make them liable to abuse. [10 marks]
