1 . Examine the role of philosophy of education in educational theory and practice. (18 marks)
2.Briefly discuss metaphysics and show its relevance to modern education theory and practice. (18 marks)
3.With relevant examples, discuss how education can liberate an individual. (18 marks)
4. Education should be geared towards eradicating commonly committed fallacies in teaching and learning enterprise. React to this statement by defining a fallacy, and discussing with appropriate examples three fallacies in school situation and how they can be avoided. ( 18 marks)

5.Some educational approaches destroy the learner's whole round development. React to this statement in the light of Jean Jacques Rousseau's educational philosophy. (17 marks)
6. Identify and discuss the 8 national goals of Education in Kenya and show how they can be enhanced in teaching and learning process. (17 marks)
7.Distinguish between rule deontological and act deontological ethical theories and discuss their application in cultivating moral values and virtues to learners in schools. (17 marks)
8. Education is supposed to enhance and cultivate the spirit of dialogue among pupils and teachers. However, modern teachers encounter many challenges as facilitators of dialogical education. Highlight and briefly discuss these challenges. (17 marks)
