and Oral Literature performance. Illustrate your arguments with data
from your field work.

2. How far can you say Oral Literature is obsolete in the modern society?
Discuss the relevance and place of Oral Literature in the contemporary
society.

3. With illustrations from your field work experience, examine the role and
place of modern technology and equipment in Oral Literature research.

4. Evaluate the impact of gender and economic dynamics in creativity, the
issues addressed by performers and the response of the audience in the
society. Consider various genres of Oral Literature to illustrate.

5. Why would you say classification is important in the study of Oral
Literature? Explain the criteria, approach to, challenges and limitations of
classification of genres of Oral Literature. Use oral songs from your
community to illustrate.

6. Analyse the interplay between occasion, performer, and audience in a
performance. Use examples from your fieldwork to explain.
