1. a) Read the following information and present it visually by either
using a Bar Graph or a Line Graph.

In 1999, the HIV/AIDs new infection incidence rate stood at 1000 in
“Wajamaa” Location. In the next three years, the incidence rate of new
cases was 500 per annum. Consequently, the introduction of anti-
HIV/AIDS campaign reduced the incidence rate to 300 in the year 2004 and
250 in 2005. Due to complacency, however, the incidence rate rose by 600,
700 and 800 in 2006, 2007 and 2008 respectively.
In January 2009, thanks to the introduction of Information, Education and
Communication (IEC) campaign, spearhead by youth peer groups, the new
HIV/AIDS incidence rate was a mere 200.
