QUESTION 1 (COMPULSORY)
a) Faida_ Supermarkets Co Ltd offers 15 percent discount to a customer who buys
goods worth Sh. 25,000 and above. Additionally, the company offers a gift worth
Sh. 5,000 to a customer who buys good worth sh. 60,000 and above. Represent this
information in a pseudo code. (8 marks)

b) A team of software developers has been given the task of developing a software
solution for all business functions of a certain company.

i) State and explain the steps that should be followed by the team when
constructing the entity model. (10 marks)

ii) Explain the possible approaches that maybe used by the team during the
system changeover. (12 marks)
