QUESTION ONE
a) Briefly explain the relationship between language and literature.

Describe three steps the teacher may take in developing learners’ skills of
literary criticism and appreciation.

c)
In traditional African settings, children learnt without much strain. Using
illustrations, explain this view in terms of Oral Literature teaching and
learning.

Mention six ways in which dramatization would help students understand
events in a novel.

State six ways in which the class reader can be used to develop language
skills in a form one class.
