1. Several basic employee counseling principles have been suggested to employee counselors. Discuss four such principles. In your discussion, indicate why each
of the principle is important. (20 marks)

shy away from seeking out help. Discuss four methods that employee counselors
could use to “get the employee started.” (20 marks)

3. Discuss four practical tools that employers could use to change employee
behavior. Your response should relate to employee counseling. (20 marks)

4. (a) Distinguish between the terms psychotherapy and crises management.(5 marks)

(b) In relation to an organization you are familiar with, discuss four crises
that the employees may have faced and briefly mention how the
organization dealt with the crises. (15 marks)
