world by equipping them (students) with mathematical skills. What are
these skills? [10 marks]

b)List at least four (4) uniqueness of mathematical statements and give
examples of each uniqueness. [10 marks]

c).What are the four (4) areas of behaviour that one can use to identify
talented students in mathematics? Using one of the four areas of
behaviour, mention five ways of identifying talented student(s) in your
mathematics class. [10 marks]
2.a)What are the five main content areas of mathematics in Kenyan's
secondary schools? [5 marks]

b).One aim of teaching mathematics is to help students make sense of their
world. How is this so? And what can teachers of mathematics do to
ensure that students of mathematics achieve that aim? [10 marks]

3.a)According to many researches how do girls explain their success or failure
in mathematics? [5 marks]
