1. a) Distinguish the difference between general and instructional media.[4 marks]
b) Give four reasons why you would select motion pictures to teach your lessons.
[4 marks]
c) Briefly describe the seven steps needed to produce an audio program.[7 marks]
d) Give two examples of audio media and their advantages. [4 marks]
e) Explain the four characteristics of well stated objectives. [4 marks]
f) State and explain the importance of the five steps of media utilization.[ 5 marks]
g) Explain and give examples of projected media two components. [2 marks]

2. Media can be grouped into two major categories i.e projected media.
a) Give examples of five media from each category. [10 marks]
b) Explain the advantages and limitation of the ten media of your choice as in
(a) above. [10 marks]
3. Selection of media requires some important decisions,
a) Why do you need to select media for instruction in the first place?[5 marks]
b) Who should be involved and why? [5 marks]
c) What criteria would you use to guide you while purchasing instructional hardware? [10 marks]
4. Write an abstract of your research project not exceeding one hand written page.

5 a) Three properties of media production have been identified, what are they and what can the do? [ 8 marks]
b) Discuss the four situations under which media can be utilized for
instructional purposes. [ 12 marks]
