Answer ALL questions from section ONE and any TWO Questions from section TWO.
SECTION ONE (30 MARKS)

5. Discuss how the communication controversy dubbed “communication warfare” has had ripple effect to a child with hearing impairment in the classroom.

6. Analyse the main current trends in communication for individuals with hearing impairments within your society. Indicate the implications for each trend.

Give examples for each sign word and stat the challenges you may face.
8. Discuss how the hearing impairments have affected academic development and progress of learning with hearing impairments in Kenya. What remedied are being structured to combat the effects. [ 20 marks]
