i. Discuss the major changes that have manifested in the management of human
resources as it evolved from Personnel Management to Human Resource
Management and to Strategic Human resource Management (8 Marks)
ii. Managing human resources in the 21 Century can be a challenge to those
managers or supervisors who fail to recognize that the workforce is likely to have
a high proportion of knowledge workers. Discuss (8 Marks)
iii. Recruitment is a critical function of human resource management. Discuss the
factors influencing effective recruitment effort in a large organization (8 Marks)
iv. Many training initiatives fail to accomplish their purpose. Discuss six factors that
