A stone was projected upwards and reached a height of 200 m. Determine the:
i. Initial velocity of the stone (ignore air resistance and take g = 10 m/s^2)
ii. Total time the stone is in air

i. v2 = u2 – 2gs v =0
u^2 = 2gs
u^2 = 2 x 10 x 200
=4000
U = v4000
U = 63.25 m/s
S= ut – 1/2 gt^2
t=2u/g
t=2 x 63.25/10
t =12.10 s
