(i) Joseph and Mary went to Jerusalem for the Passover festival every year.
(ii) When Jesus was 12 years old He accompanied His parents to Jerusalem to attend the festival.
(iii) The celebrations took place in the temple and lasted for seven days.
iv) After the festival they were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem.
v) His parent did not know it; they thought he was in the company.
vi) They sought Him among their kinsfolk; they did not find Him.
vii) They returned to Jerusalem seeking Him.
viii) After three days, they found Him in the temple, sitting, /listening /asking questions the elders.
ix) Those who heard Him were amazed at His understanding and answers.
x) When parents saw Him, they were astonished and His mother said, “Son why have you treated us so. Behold your father
and I have been looking for you.”
xi) Jesus said, “How is it that your sought me, didn?t you know that I must be in my Father?s House?
xii) They didn?t understand the saying.
xiii) He went home to Nazareth with them in obedience.
xiv) His mother kept this in her heart, Jesus in wisdom, stature and in wisdom with God and man
