A Fruit is formed through various stages.
First pollination(which is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma) occurs, there is fertilization(the process by which a haploid egg fuses with a haploid male cell gamete to form a diploid zygote) the ovules develop into seeds whereas the ovary ripens and it's walls(polycarp) becomes fleshy hence a fruit is formed.
