Molten Calcium chloride and molten Magnesium chloride contains Calcium ions and chloride ions,magnesium ions and chloride respectively . These ions are mobile hence they conduct electricity. carbon tetrachloride and silicon tetrachloride have no mobile ions and therefore they can't conduct electricity.
