i)-The land surface is or a water mass, are heated by solar radiation.Air in contact with the surface is heated through conduction. The warm moist air expands , becomes light and rises .As it rises , it cools and reaches condensation level.Condensation occurs, and convectionalclouds are formed. When the droplets becomes too heavy to be suspended in the atmosphere, they fall as rainfall.

Ii) A warm, moist and light tropical air mass meets a cold , dry and dense polar air mass.A warm front is formed .The cool dense air mass remain close to the ground surface, but pushes the warm moist air mass upward. As the warm air mass rises, it cools. It reaches condensation level, and condenstaion occurs where clouds are formed. When the water droplets become too heavy to suspended in the atmosphere, they fall as frontal rain.
