-Water evaporates from wet grounds and water surfaces
-Transpiration also takes place from plants
-Water vapour rises and cools
-It reaches condensation level, condensation occurs and clouds are formed
-When water droplets are too heavy to be suspended in the atmosphere, they fall as precipitation.
-On the ground surface, some water infiltrates into the ground.
-The rest flows as surface run off to the sea, lakes, rivers and oceans.
-This continous circulation from the earth to the atmosphere is what is known as hydrological cycle.
