Enthalpy of neutralization between Ethanoic acid (CH3COOH) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is lower than that between hydrochloric acid (HCl) and NaOH because CH3COOH is weak acid which does not dissociate fully in water thus some of the heat produced is used for full dissociation.
