a. Place the two spheres together to form a single conductor.
b. Charge the polythene rod and place it close to one of the sphere.
c. Move one of the metal spheres, to break the contact, while holding the rod.
d. Withdraw the polythene rod.
e. Test the charge acquired by the metal sphere.
Nb. One will acquire positive charge while the other negative charge.
