3. Public international law -It regulates the relationship between states.
4. Private international law.
This is the branch of law that is mainly concerned with the determination of what system of law is applicable in case where foreign elements are involved.
5. Criminal law -The branch of law which defines the things that every person must do or not do and defines the type of punishment applicable for noncompliance.
6. Civil law -This is a branch of law that regulates relationship between private individuals by enforcing obligation or compensating injured parties.
7. Substantive law.
It is a body of legal rules which defines what is lawful or unlawful to do.
8. Procedural law.
This is the body of rules which specifies the steps to be taken or the procedure to be followed by a person who intend an act.
