This is where one scatters the seeds all over the field in a random manner. This is for tiny seed like those for pasture grasses
It is easy, quick and cheap than row planting
If seeds are unevenly scatted it leads to overcrowding hence lead to low performance of the crops plants.
It gives a good ground cover but it is not easy to use machines.
