a. The smallest unit of measurement is 0.01
Absolute error = ½ x0.01
=0.005
Percentage error =(0.005/0.30) x100%
=1.7%
b. The smallest unit of the measurement is 0.1
Absolute error = ½ x0.1
= 0.05
Percentage error = (0.05/0.3)x100%
= 17%
