The limits within which the measurement are found are
4.45 cm and 5.55 cm
7.05 cm and 7.15 cm
The maximum possible sum
=5.55 + 7.15
=12.70 cm
The minimum possible sum =5.45 +7.05
=12.50 cm
Working sum= 12.6 cm
The absolute error =maximum sum – working sum
=12.70 – 12.6
=0.10
