a) Long loop of henle- this is to ensure more reabsorption of salt which will enable more water reabsorption at the distal convoluted tubule.
b) Production of concentrated urine- this is due to maximum reabsorption of water to ensure little loss of water through urine.
c) Fewer glomerula- this reduces ultrafiltration which therefore reduces the amount of water that passes into the Bowman's capsule.
d) Presence of extra fat in the hump- this can be metabolised to release water.
e) Production of more antidiuretic hormone- this increases the permeability of the distal convoluted tubule to water therefore maximum reabsorption.
