Pilate was the last human effort to save Christ from death.
Pilate had the mandate to prove Christ’s innocence despite Him being crucified.
Pilate led to the fulfillment of the prophecy about the crucifixion of the innocent lamb.
Through Pilate it is proved that man’s plans can never overthrow God’s will.
Having his plans to save Christ failing, Pilate showed those against His crucifixion that it was a mandate for Christ to die.
Pilate exhibited how justice should be fully embraced by all who are in all positions of leadership.
