Let the constants be K and M

C = K + Md

30 000 = K + 400 M .....(i)

42 000 = K + 600 M .....(ii)

30 000 = K + 400 M

12 000 = 200 M

60 = M

30 000 = K + 400 x 60

K = 30 000 - 24 000 = 6 000

C = 6 000 + 60M

= 6 000 + 60M

= 6 000 + 60(800)

= 6 000 + 48 000

=sh 54 000
