Early Childhood Education teachers have information about child development in general.They are well enriched when it comes to a child development from as early as 3 years where they are able to recognize how a child respond when assessed through the following development:

(a) Cognitive-This deals with brain.The teachers observes how a child receives and initiate what they are taught.

(b) Physical development- that have to deal with body parts, teachers can tell if a child's body condition needs any attention and are able to discuss the matter with the parents.

(c) Emotional- the conditions in which can determine what state a child is in; Happy, shy, timid, aggressive and other conditions that deals with a child'emotional needs.

(d) Social- How a child interact with other kids as well as the state they handle themselves helps a teacher lot to asses what kind of a child they are dealing with.

Shape of education system: The teachers help to ready the children for school, by the time the go to a primary level, Their eyes have been opened in many ways,helping and making it easy for the primary level teacher to introduce the right subject accordingly.

Teachers are a link between a child and their parents- It could be that at times parents are not able to pick certain kind of characters their children bears due to limited time parents find themselves nowadays due to busy schedules and other factors; this is where the (ECDE) teachers step in, being able to spend time with children gives them the opportunity to study and asses the character of a child and are able to give parents feedback on a child's performance including conditions that needs to be attended to.
