A motorist took 2$\frac{3}{4}$ hours to travel from town A to town B. If he started the journey at 10.30 a.m, determine the time the journey ended in
i) 24 hour clock system.
ii) 12 hour clock system

+Time taken 245

= 1275

75 minutes is 1 hour and

15 minutes. Add 1 hour to

12 to get 1315h which was the time the journey ended

in 24 hour clock system.

ii) In 12 hour clock system,

1315h

-1200h

= 1.15 p.m was the time

The journey ended in 12
