ii) Formation of organically formed sedimentary rocks.
- They are formed from remains of dead plants and animals/ organic material.
- The materials may be deposited together in water or buried on land.
--The materials become compacted to form various types of rocks called organically formed sedimentary rocks.
-They are classified on the basis of their composition and mode of formation.
