The enamel forms the protective covering of the tooth.

Pulp cavity contains blood vessels and nerves. The blood vessels provide nutrients to the living tissues in the dentine and remove waste products. Nerves detect heat,cold and pain.

Cement embeds the root within the jaw with the help of supporting fibres.
