Find the equation of a circle whose diameter has the end points (-2,5) and (4,1)

JOSEPH
Center = (-2+4)/2 + (5+1)/2
= 1, 3
Radius2 = (?y)2 + (?x)2
= (4-1)2 + (1-3)2
= 32 +(-2)2
= 13
Therefore equation of circle
= (x-h)2 + (y-k)2 =r2 where (h,k) is the centre
= (x-1)2 + (y-3)2 = r3
= x2 -2x + 1 + y2 – 6y + 9 = 13
The equation is x2 -2x + y2 -6y =3
