Water: Milk
4 :1
Total volume of mixture is 4+1=5cm^3
Water density is 1g/cm^3
Milk density is 1.2g/cm^3

Mass = density × volume
Mass of water =1g/cm^3 ×4cm^3 = 4g
Mass of milk = 1.2cm^3 ×1cm^3 = 1.2g
Total mass of mixture is 5.2g

Find mass of 2.5l of mixture.
1L = 1000cm^3.
2.5L = 2.5 ×1000= 2500cm^3
A mixture of 5cm^3 = 5.2g
A mixture of 2500cm^3 =?

2500cm^3 × 5.2g ÷ 5cm^3 = 2600g.
