It help in conserving the environment especially air pollution through treaties and regulations where certain chemicals which pollutes environment are banned and another way is through customers international law where countries are expected to exploit their resources in relation to their own environmental and developmental policies. This ensures that the environment is kept clean and safe as responsibility is given also to the states themselves to enforce international law.
