Areas of feasibility study

Technical feasibility. Can the system be constructed using available hardwareand
software. Consider transaction volumes, file capacities, response times and
concurrent users.

Operational feasibility. That the system does not interfere with how
theorganisation does its business. Consider management responsibilities, chains of
command, reporting structures and levels of re-organisation required.

Social feasibility. System does not result in a net decline in the interests
of stakeholders. Consider personnel policies, job specifications, industrial relations,
skill requirements and motivation.

Economical feasibility. The proposed benefits of the system exceed its estimated costs. Is
the project a good investment?
