Monks are people set aside for a solitary life of prayer. Among the acts they are forbidden to do is drinking of alcohol. The drunk monk in Caucasian chalk circle draws an image of an irresponsible person who does not respect the rules set to be followed by a monk instead it is seen that the main reason why he is in that position is to gain the respect and favors that come with the position. In Caucasian chalk circle religion is used to gain grounds with the people and to foster corrupt politics.
