i) Domino games - children to match cards with similar letter sounds

ii) Fishing games - children pick letter flash cards from a container and read the sound alond

iii) Letter puzzles - children to fill in the empty spaces in the puzzle with the correct letter

iv) Skittle game - children to throw an object to a line of letters and say the letter sound the child knocks down

v) Pocket board game - children to match letters by putting the correct letter in the right pocket on the pocket board

vi) Memory games - Children mix card, place them upside down, lift one and compare the symbols

vii) Lotto games - A master card with pictures in a sequence is drawn and then a card with similar shapes/ letter is used to cover the corresponding picture

viii) Dice game - children throw/ play with a dice and come out with a letter and be able to say what is it.
