(i) Temperature
(ii) Amount of fresh water being added
(iii) Ocean currents

Answers

Faith
Temperature
- High temperature causes the rate of evaporation to increase which in turn cause the water to be more saline.

Amount of fresh water being added
- Fresh water is added to oceans through rainfall, rivers and ice which has melted. This lowers the salinity of sea water.

Ocean currents
- When water at the surface of the ocean and that in the bottom mix, a variation in the concentration of salts may occur.
