GLOBAL WARMING AND GREENHOUSE GASES.
-Atmospheric gases like carbon dioxide,methane,water vapour and Chlorofluorocarbons(CFCs) are capable of trapping outgoing infrared radiation from the earth's surface.These gases are referred to as greenhouses gases that results to global warming.
-The infrared radiations trapped by the earth's surface is inhibited from escaping from atmosphere.
-As a result, there is an increase in thermal energy or heat in atmosphere.
-This results to increase in global atmospheric temperature.
EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING AND GREENHOUSE GASES.
-Increased sea leves leading to coastal flooding.
-Increased parasites and diseases attacks.
-Increased environmental security in terms of wars over resources.
-Increased food shortage /insecurity.
