Explain why h2 is greater than h1

Answers

John
i) Adhesive force in h2 is greater than in h1

ii) Volume of water in the tube is same hence the column in the narrow tube (h2) is higher

iii) Since the weight of water in both tubes is the same, the narrow tube (h2) has a longer column to equal the weight in the wider tube (h1)
