Transpiration
i) Loss of water in form of water vapour/ gaseous
ii) Form from a plant surface
iii) Occurs through stomata, lenticels, thin cuticle
iv) Occurs in conditions of high temperature/ low
v) Relative humidity, high wind speed

Guttation
i) Loss of water in form of droplets/ liquid form
ii) Form a plant surface;
iii) Occurs through hydathodes;
iv) Occurs in conditions of high soil water content
v) But low temperature/ high relative humidity/ still air
