Nitrogen is fixed into the plants by bacteria in a form that can be utilized by plants.The plants are fed on by herbivores. The herbivores obtain nitrogen from the fed plants. The carnivore feeds on herbivores such as gazelles obtaining the nitrogen that was obtained from plants by herbivores.
