i) Bill of rights applies to all and binds all state organs and all persons

ii) Every person is supposed to enjoy the rights and freedoms in the bill of rights to the greatest extent consistence with the nature of the rights and fundamental freedom

iii) In interpretation of the bill of rights a court, a tribunal or other authority is expected to

iv) In applying a provision of bill of rights, the court is expected to develop the law to the extent that it does not give effect of the right or fundamental freedom

v) The court is expected to give an interpretation that must favour the enforcement of a right or fundamental freedom
