to maintain the process.
- State of health – When the body is sick, the rate of metabolism is low and therefore less energy giving food is required.
- Sex/gender – Influence the meal to be served women require more iron
than men.
- Occupation – A person with a sedentary occupation that involves mainly mental activity will require very little energy-giving food.
