Some of the lakes lack fresh water rivers emptying into them
Some lakes are fed from underground water sources which contain high salt concentration
Some lakes are fed by rivers which flow over rocks with high salt contents. The rivers dissolve the salts and empty them into the lakes
Some of the lakes lack outlets which are vital in draining away some of the salts in the lakes hence the salts accumulate leading to saltiness of the lake.
