Describe the formation of Yardangs.

Answers

Faith
Yardangs are formed on a mass of rocks that are vertically inclined to the direction of the prevailing winds. The rock masses are of alternate softness and hardness. The wind containing sand particles scour the soft layers more intensively than the hard layers leading to the formation of ridges alternating with troughs. The ridges are referred to as yardangs
