Describe the formation of deflation hollows

Answers

Faith
They are formed when dry unconsolidated materials especially dust and sand are removed from the surface of the earth by wind. The finest materials are wind borne at greater heights and carried for long distances. Coarser materials are swept away by sand storms or circulating strong winds in deserts. The remaining heavier material move along the surface in a series of swirling hops. Continued eddying of the wind leads to the creation of a basin or hollow known as deflation hollow.
