Moses was born and raised in Egypt,he was born at a time when Pharaoh had ordered the killing of all male children of the Hebrew. When his mother saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him for three months and when she could no longer hide him, she took him put him in a basket by the river bank
where he was later adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. When Moses was all grown, he witnessed an Egyptian beating a Hebrew,he turned to the Egyptian and killed him. He later ran away to Midian because he feared for his life. While in Midian when he was tendering his father in law's flock at Mount Horeb, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of the bush. And the Lord told him that He has surely seen the oppression of His people who are in Egypt and He has heard their cry and had come to deliver them. The Lord asked Moses to Go back to Egypt and tell Pharaoh to let His people go so that they may worship Him, Moses was hesitant at first, the Lord assured him that He would certainly be with him,He told him to take his brother Aaron to be his spokesman because Moses complained that he was not eloquent, the Lord also showed Moses miraculous signs that he would show Pharaoh, and Moses finally agreed to go back to Egypt.
